On 13th November, 2011, three members of St. Wilfrid’s Church Bereavement Support Group attended a Bereavement Service organised by the Bereavement Group of Our Lady of Ransom Church in Eastbourne.  It was a poignant, memorable service co-inciding with Remembrance Sunday.  Each member at the Service was given the opportunity to light a candle in remembrance of their lost loved one.  It was well attended and everyone felt very moved and appreciated the opportunity to mark their remembrance in prayer and quiet reflection.  After the service everyone was invited to refreshments in the church hall.

Fr. Raglan conducted the service and later mingled with everyone at the event.  Our Hailsham group extends our sincere thanks to Renata who invited the group during our previous study group gathering on the subject at DABCEC, Crawley. Photos included will highlight this memorable event.
