Four members from St. Wilfrid’s have been attending a course of lectures held at DABCEC which finishes in June.

“Members of the newly formed Bereavement Care Team are parishioners who are being trained by the Diocese to offer friendship and support if required.  As members of the Christian community we are offering support to those recently bereaved and any parishioners who would like to get to know the Care team and to those who feel alone.   The members of the Care team are Loretta Fry, Maeve O’Rourke. Mary McKeon and Ann Fielder and contact can be made with them through  the Parish Priest, Fr. Rory, 01323 841504, or after the masses on Sundays or weekdays.”

“The Bereavement Care Team are planning to hold a regular Coffee Morning in the Parish Hall on the last Wednesday of every month to provide an opportunity for social contact and discussion.  The first Coffee morning will be on 29th February at 10.30am.  Please come along to join us.”
